The Universal QRP Transmitter MKII - $25

This is a perfect way to try your hand at Ugly Construction!  This “kitlet” includes all the parts you need to build up the MKII Ugly style on a scrap of copper clad board.  Two pieces of copper clad are included.  Also included are all the parts, and a copy of the article written by W7ZOI in the April 2006 issue of QST.  The crystal (standard QRP calling frequency) is also included.  All you need to supply is the key and +12 volts DC; and an enclosure if you want to get fancy!  By adding your own variable capacitor (30 to 100 pf max) in series with the crystal, you can have VXO control. The modifications/improvements written up in July 2006 QST are also included as part of the kit

The MKII is available for the following bands/frequencies:

80m - 3.560MHz
40m – 7.030MHz
40m – 7.040MHz
30m – 10.106MHz
20m – 14.060MHz
17M – 18.096MHz
15m – 21.060MHz
12m – 24.906MHz
10m – 28.060MHz
