New Kits this year (2010) include: R2Pro receiver
New kits for Dayton last year (2009) included:
The HF converter kit extends the frequency coverage of the microR2 receiver. The other 4 kits are intended to provide the experimenter with an in-expensive way of getting on the lower VHF bands and doing some experimenting. The cw sources provide an easy way to get a signal on 6 and 2 meters, and the receive converters provide an effective receiver on 6 an 2 meters when combined with the microR2 or any 40 meter receiver. When used with the microR2, a pack of AA cells, and a suitable antenna, you can spend the weekend working the band from a portable location. The photos are hi-res, so they will take a little time to load, but then you can zoom in for more detail. |
