miniR2 - High Performance Single Signal Direct Conversion Receiver - $95 (pc bd only - $20) I have not yet gotten the miniR2 kit going again since the Flood of 2007.... It will happen at some point. If you are interested in the miniR2, let me know. It will help bring it to the top of my priority list. The miniR2 is a smaller version 6.5 x 9 cm (2.5 x 3.5 inch) of the R2 with some modifications. The main differences are: smaller diode ring mixers (TUF-1) are used, and the audio amplifier is now only big enough to drive a pair of headphones. The miniR2 was described in Nov. '95 QST in "A Small High-Performance CW Transceiver". It includes parts for a 2.5 Khz audio filter. Other audio filters can be mounted off the board and switched in line. |
